There are four reasons why I study Japanese.
First, Japan is our neighbor but we always have the tense relationship for some unknown reasons. I would like to figure out why. So I decided to study this language to help me understand more about politics and history.
Second, I really like Japnese products! They are reliable and trustable! Chinese people cannot do that so I want to contact with real Japanese people to see if I can study their spirits.
Third, I am a student major in literature. Japanese literature has very strong relationship with Chinese ones. So I want to study the similarities and differences!
Fourth, I have a Japanese boyfriend!
These reasons can show why I want to study Japanese. And until now, the Japanese classes in Columbia are really interesting and exciting! I am looking forward to studying more and more!

お返事(へんじ)ありがとう!中国語は語順(ごじゅん)が日本語とにているので助かります。ですが、漢字(かんじ)と読み(よみ)を覚えるのが難しいです。今天我学单词「温泉」「餐馆」「卫生」。
DeleteThanks for replying! I feel chinese is like Japanese. It is difficult for me to memorize KANJI and how to read.
Hi! Hope everything is well! Kanji is a little bit complicated compare with Hiragana or Katakana. But some of the words' pronunciations are very similar!
DeleteBtw, we will say 今天我学了单词“温泉”、“餐馆”、“卫生”。Pay attention to the particle 了~
Keep studying! And look forward for your reply!
こんばんわ, Tong-san. I also agree that learning a new language can help understand the country's history and politics. Interesting opinions on Chinese products, though. I agree that some of products made by Chinese manufacturer are not as good as Japanese, but just because that does not necessarily mean that the spirits cause the difference. The logic does not make sense. I agree with you third point, too.
ReplyDeleteTong-san! 打酱油路过~~
ReplyDeleteトンさん! This is Lizzy. I'm also learning Japanese, because Korea is so close to Japan, and we (including China) share so much history together!
ReplyDeleteI really like Japanese products as well. I really like how we share similar backgrounds to learning Japanese! Looking forward to learning Japanese with you in class this year. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. どうも。
シンさん、初めまして。わたしわウェンマオジです。ちゅうごくからきました。日本が大好きですね、unfortunately, we have been miscommunicating with our neighbors for so long, and a lot of treasures are getting lost. 日本語おべんきょしましょ!
